Thai's New year

I think every country has their New year. Just like Thailand! I think not many people know that Thailand has their own New year. It is on April 13. Actually, it's not only New year. It's also family's day and Songkran festival. In Songkran festival starts from 13-15 April. This time in Thailand is the hottest time of the year so in this festival, people will throw water to each other. If you go to Thailand in this period, you'll see lots of shops that sell bowl and water guns. Usually, this festival is a long holiday in Thailand which start from April 13 to April 17 so people will continuously, throwing water until the last day of the long holiday. This festival is fascinated foreign tourists to come and travel in Thailand and also enjoy this festival together with Thai people.
Traditionally, people will go back to their home town gathering with their family. Young people will show respect to senior people by pouring water to senior's hands and senior people will wish their juniors good luck.

My birthday in 2008

I would like to talk about my birthday in 2008. Why 2008? Because, there was something special on that day. My birthday is December 29. It was not a special present from someone but it was from something we never know. On that day in 2008, I was still in Thailand. I just finished my work. On the way home, I was walking to the sky train and I saw many people looking into the sky so I looked up and then I saw something that I had never seen before. I don't know if there was all around the world or only in Thailand but that was so impressed. It was the moon smiled. I also took a picture of it too. Hope you enjoy!!!

Amazing in Thailand

Today, I will talk about Thailand where I'm from. Not many people in the west part of the world know about Thailand or where Thailand is. Thailand is in the southeast of Asia. It shares borders with Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. There are the Gulf of Thailand on the southeast coast and Andaman sea on the southwest coast. Thailand has many interesting places as there are many beautiful seas where you can diving and snorkelling (Similan islands, Surin islands). Also, mountainous areas in the north such as Chiang-Mai and Pai. In the middle part of Thailand, where the capital is located, Bangkok, the city that never sleeps. If you go up north about 2 hours by car you will see Ayudhaya (the former capital of Thailand for 417 years) where is rich of historic places. This is a little information about Thailand.

My new condo

Yesterday, I moved my stuff to new condo. My new condo is very close to Mount Royal University. It is fourth floors. I have a problem at my living place. I stayed alone at my room and watched the television in the living room; I heard sound that it was fire alarm. In first time, I did not worry about fire alarm because I thought that it was sound from television and after five minutes, someone knocked in fornt of the door " Why do not you go outside?" When I heard that I found our passport in my emergency bag. When I opened the door, I could not see everything because it had a lot of smoke in this floor. However, my room is very close to fire exit. I followed someone who knocked in front of the door. I can go outside the building and then someone talked to me about fire alarm because the guy smoked inside the room in the second floors. I felt that I should be careful every time.

"My bad dog"

I would like to talk about my bad dog who Diesel, he is six months, the Golden retriever puppy, smart and very playful. I got him in the farm from Saskatchewan and then he wants to play in larger area. He usually angry us when we walked together in the small park so he usually chews my hand. When he stayed alone in my condo that it is small area, he bits everything such as tables, chairs, doors, shoes and his stuff. When I came back to my condo after studying, he bumped me more than ten minutes. He does not like the computer because I use the computer almost everyday so I can not play with him every time. We knew that he wanted to live the largest area for living and playing. My friends told me about my dog that he is aggressive dog but I disagree with them. I knew that he loves us. He does not like sometime when I sad, he usually sleeps very close to me. We want to save him although he is the bad dog for other people. In the next month, we will move my living place that it is fit for him.
